As a well established contractor trading for 40 years, we maintain an excellent track record. Our strong and highly experienced management team led by our three directors is well qualified, experienced and committed to every project.
We primarily operate in and around Greater Manchester and the North West.

How we work
Understanding and exceeding expectations whilst providing value for money is something we aim to achieve when approaching projects. Before any work is completed, we perform the relevant health and safety checks which permit our team to operate safely. We're committed to reducing the impact our business activities may have on the environment, minimising the use of any unnatural resources and production of emissions.
We value our employees and drive the business to focus on recognising potential, whilst providing resources to offer training and development opportunities. This allows our team to gain further knowledge and experience in the industry and enables their growth within the company.
Established in 1982
Our history
Mr Tom McKenna senior established R&M Developments back in 1982, providing Plant and Wagon hire to many returning clients. Over time the business branched out and began completing small civil engineering contracts for private clients in and around Manchester, including the Manchester city council.
Today, our team has grown significantly, driving the business forward and expanding the range of services we offer. Our commitment over the years has been rewarded with much larger contracts from Demolition through to Civil Engineering works.
