Design and build of a car park space for the Airport City development
Airport City Manchester is currently on a mission to develop 5 million sq ft of offices, logistics, hotels and advanced manufacturing space with a total development value of £1 billion. The site, located adjacent to Manchester Airport, will be undergoing continuous work over the next 10 to 15 years.
We were contracted in to design and create a car park for one of the new hotel developments.

The project began with site clearance and a GPR Survey which allowed us to detect and locate any underground services. The onsite team erected new bollards and fencing, car park entrance islands, installation of ducting, excavation and preparation of existing areas along with a full resurfacing of the car park site. Once dry fresh new line markings were applied to the area to mark out the parking bays entrance, exits and through road. We also managed the new electrical installation including high mast light fittings for full vision at night.
