We were awarded principal contractor for the extension work on Jet Parks 3 car park at Manchester Airport.
Working directly for Manchester Airport Group (MAG) as principal contractor on a car park extension to introduce 800 new parking bays to the existing jet parks 3 car park. In addition to the extension, we also completed regrade & realignment along with the new ducting layout of the existing car park.

Works also included the demolition of no`s 48 & 52 Moss lane along with the forming of a new public right of way & lots of trees that required felling by use of long reach excavator sat atop of a faun trackway. The scheme threw up plenty of potential environmental issues ranging from bats nesting in one of the above properties, nesting season almost upon us, fingertip searches having to be carried out for newts, birds landing within the work zone as the location is close to the runway & finally a badger protection zone having to be set around a known badger set.
