Resurfacing of North Road & Baggage Chute 45 at Manchester Airport
We were awarded the work to redesign and resurface the roadway leading to baggage chute 45 and joining onto North Road at Manchester airport. The duration of work was successfully completed over 12 weeks.
In order to complete the work to a high standard, the job first required the completion of surveying and design of the area.

We successfully completed a full re-level, resurfacing and renewing the line markings of the roadway leading to baggage chute 45. The work then continued onto north road from the north gate security up to the airside service yard and pier b entrance. The work involved renewing and resetting the existing chambers, hydrants and manholes, along with plaining off the existing road surface, installing new barriers and marking the roadway for traffic and pedestrians. To keep disruptions to a minimum for airport staff, part of the work was completed overnight.
