Trafford housing trust appointed Wilmott Dixon in a £20m contract, one of the region's biggest ever schemes. The delivery of the project included the construction of 80 care homes targeting over 55's with high quality accommodation that focuses on independent living. Alongside the accommodation, the new build includes a community centre, bistro café, pharmacy and health care facilities. Another area of the project focused on the demolition and rebuild of 'St Brides Church'
We dug out and laid a solid foundation structure to support the build to both the new church & the Limelight building.
2no new manhole connections onto the existing sewers, attenuation tank installation, external drainage using manhole & trench boxes at depths of 3m.
Full external works including tarmac prep, kerbing & pin kerbs, railway sleeper planters & forming new parking bays along Shrewsbury St itself whilst working closely with TMBC as part of the 278 works on the highway.
Membrane, insulation & mesh/rebar works to the main slab areas. Full paving works to both the footpaths & main carriageway of St Brides way. Inclusive of pin kerbs, planters & tree pits.
Our team covered all site engineering works including external ducting & service pits.
