Working alongside the team at Wates Construction on a new build project for Baumont Collegiate Academy
Baumont Collegiate Academy, part of The Challenge Academy Trust (TCAT) provide high-quality educational programmes that are designed for individual learners. Under the Government’s Priority Schools Building Programme, the academy was successfully granted funding for a completely new school build to replace the existing site off Long Lane, Warrington.

The school acquired local builders and architects for the re-build. We joined forces with the team at Wates Construction, who won the main contract to assist with the reconstruction of a brand new 6,704m² two-storey education block that will cater to 900 pupils.
Our role during the build consisted of pad foundations and strip footing, the fitting of external and internal drainage, 3 large bunded grassed areas as part of the rainwater irrigation system, kerbs & pin kerbs, large areas of permeable paving. During this project, we also offered assistance in the re-design of the existing on site car parks. Our highly-skilled team were able to transform the car parks making them much more user friendly.
